Blue Meadow Floral is a creative floral studio specialising in bold, artistic and visually considered designs for weddings, events and creative projects.
Founded in 2019, Blue Meadow began with a love for experimentation and creativity, starting with styled shoots and quickly evolving into a full time floral studio.
THE STORY
Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always creating, entering wearable art competitions, playing with texture and form, and finding excitement in the process of bringing ideas to life. I was naturally drawn to anything expressive, imaginative, and hands on.
Over time, that passion found its home in floristry. Flowers became my medium, a way to blend creativity with feeling, beauty with meaning. My work is deeply rooted in the same creative curiosity that inspired me growing up, romantic, intentional, and designed to transform spaces in a meaningful way.

Hi, i'm anita
The hands and heart behind Blue Meadow Florals.
Blue Meadow was founded in 2019, shaped by years of self taught experience and a hands on approach to creating florals that feel modern, intentional and deeply personal. My approach is relaxed and collaborative, allowing space for creativity while keeping the process easy and enjoyable.
Based in Paengaroa, my studio is where all of my planning, flower preparation, and creative work takes place, a calm, considered space where each floral story begins.
The name 'Blue Meadow' was inspired by my three sons playing in the paddock, blue for my boys, meadow for the space they explored. It represents creativity, abundance and openness, allowing each celebration to have its own unique identity.
